The bed was great, best sleep ever. The hotel was really close to Sexmuseum Amsterdam Venustempel and you can walk to herengracht. We loved breakfast and people at this venue...

Everything was good ...but beware there is no Aircon ...so if you goin in summer and if its hot, all you have is a 12inch table fan.

Room was of a good size and quietly located within the hotel. Degree of room cleanliness was fine, bed comfortable and the shower-room practical if basic.
Dark, dated decor in drab colours of purple, grey, black and dark pink was tired and depressing. The corridors were especially grim not helped by the plastic orchids in the entry hall area. Black curtains and bed-spread in the bedroom added to the dated gothic feel of the place as did the carpet on the elevator wall. Pity as the location is good and the room was a decent size. The coffee/tea maker in the room was pretty geriatric and looked as if it had not been used lately. I didn't risk it.

Excellent Staff and excellently designed comfortable boutique hotel rooms with every mod con.
The UK exchange rate means that breakfasts are an expensive extra in most hotels in Amsterdam and at 12 euros per person we instead made full use of the in-room mini bar orange juice at 2 euros and the free coffee from the in room Nespresso machine
